Jarro-Dophilus EPS is supplied in capsule form, with 120 EnteroGuard® veggie capsules per container, each providing 5 Billion CFU. Serving size is 2 capsules, giving 60 servings per container, with each 2-capsule serving providing a Probiotic Bacteria Blend of 131 mg (10 Billion CFU) from 8 strains: L. rhamnosus R0011, Pediococcus acidilactici R1001, B. longum BB536, B. breve R0070, L. helveticus R0052, L. casei R0215, L. plantarum R1012 and Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis R1058.
The other ingredients are potato starch, the capsule shell (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, water), an enteric coating (hypromellose, ethylcellulose, sodium alginate, medium chain triglycerides from modified coconut oil, oleic acid, stearic acid of vegetable source), magnesium stearate of vegetable source, and ascorbic acid as an antioxidant.
The label states the product contains milk and soy in trace amounts, and is free of wheat, egg, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts and sesame. It is noted as vegetarian and gluten free.
