Description
This product is supplied in capsule form, with 60 capsules per container. Each daily serving of one capsule provides 4.8 mg of natural beta-carotene extracted by fermentation of Blakeslea Trispora (Lyc-O-Beta™), of which 800 µg is provitamin A (100% Nutrient Reference Value), together with 206 mg of vitamin C as L-ascorbic acid (258% Nutrient Reference Value).
The ingredients are L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), natural beta-carotene extracted by fermentation of Blakeslea Trispora, sodium alginate as a stabilizer, gum arabic as a thickener, and pea starch. The capsule shell is made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. The label does not explicitly declare allergens, but notes that the product contains pea starch, which is legume-derived.
