Description

Perfect Food Original is a powder supplied in a 300 g (10.58 oz) pack, providing 30 servings at a serving size of 1 level scoop (10 g). It combines several blends: a Perfect Green Juice Blend of 4500 mg containing organic barley grass, wheat grass, alfalfa grass and oat grass juices and solubles; a Perfect Whole Food Matrix of 2900 mg containing sprouted millet, garbanzo bean, pumpkin seed, adzuki bean, sesame seed, rice bran extract, sunflower seed, quinoa, buckwheat, lentil, chia seed, flax seed and amaranth; a Protein Mineral Blend of 2100 mg containing chlorella, spirulina, calcified red algae and kelp; and a Perfect Veggie Juice Blend of 300 mg containing a range of organic vegetables including beet, carrot, broccoli, tomato, cucumber, kale, spinach, parsley, cabbage, celery, cauliflower, green bell pepper, asparagus, brussels sprout, onion, garlic and ginger.

A Probiotic Blend of 6.75 mg, providing 1 Billion CFU from ten named Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains, is also included. The other ingredient listed is organic stevia (Rebaudioside A from Stevia rebaudiana leaf). Per serving the product provides vitamin A (as beta-carotene) 1600 µg (200% Nutrient Reference Value), calcium 20 mg (3% Nutrient Reference Value), iron 4 mg (29% Nutrient Reference Value), sodium 70 mg and potassium 277 mg (14% Nutrient Reference Value).

The label states the product contains wheatgrass and sesame, and that probiotics are cultured in dairy, which is generally consumed during the fermentation process. It is manufactured in a facility that also processes egg, milk, soy, wheat, tree nuts and sesame.

Mandatory information

Adults mix 1 level scoop (approx. 2 tablespoons / 10 g) in 8 oz (240 ml) of water or juice, 1 or more times per day. Begin with 1/4 serving size for the first few days, gradually working up to full serving size. May be taken with or without food.
