Description
Kelp is supplied in tablet form, with 100 tablets per container. Each tablet provides 56 mg of Atlantic Kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum), standardized to 0.4% iodine, delivering 225 µg of iodine (150% Nutrient Reference Value).
The other ingredients are dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose (plant fiber), stearic acid, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (magnesium salts of fatty acids), acacia (gum acacia) and maltodextrin. The label states that the product may contain crustacean shellfish (lobster, shrimp and crab).
Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.
Iodine contributes to normal cognitive function.
