Apollo's Hegemony Sodium Butyrate Microencapsulated delivers 580 mg of microencapsulated sodium butyrate per capsule, providing 174 mg of active butyric acid (30%) in a precisely controlled release format. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid naturally produced in the colon through the fermentation of dietary fibre. The microcapsule shell is composed of vegetable stearic acid, and the outer capsule shell is made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), making this product fully suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
