Description
Flax Oil is supplied in softgel form, with 250 softgels per container. A serving size of 3 softgels provides 3 g (3,000 mg) of Organic Flax Seed Oil (Linum usitatissimum), cold pressed and unrefined.
The softgel capsule is made from bovine gelatin, glycerin, water and caramel color. The label states the product is not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or sesame ingredients, though it is produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens. It contains gelatin derived from bovine sources.
Each serving of 3 softgels contains 25 calories, 3 g of total fat, less than 0.5 g of saturated fat, 0 g of trans fat, 2 g of polyunsaturated fat and 0.5 g of monounsaturated fat. Naturally occurring fatty acids per serving are listed as approximately 55% linolenic acid (Omega-3), 14% linoleic acid (Omega-6), 19% oleic acid (Omega-9) and 12% other saturated fatty acids.
