Yango Sodium Butyrate Encapsulated delivers 360 mg of sodium butyrate per capsule, standardised to a minimum of 71.2% butyric acid. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid naturally produced in the colon through the fermentation of dietary fibre, and sodium butyrate serves as a convenient and well-tolerated supplemental source of this compound. Each 90-capsule pack provides a 45-day supply at the recommended dose of two capsules per day.
The formula uses an encapsulated (microencapsulated coating) format with modified starch as a coating agent. The vegetable cellulose capsule shell makes this product suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.
