Description
Omega 2000 is supplied in softgel form, with 120 softgels per pack. A daily serving of 2 capsules provides 2000 mg of fish oil (TG 18/12), of which omega-3 acids min. 700 mg, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) min. 360 mg and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) min. 240 mg, along with 10 mg of vitamin E (83% Nutrient Reference Value).
The ingredients are fish oil (TG 18/12) and vitamin E (as DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate). The softgel shell is made from bovine gelatine with glycerol as a humectant. The label states that this product contains fish.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart.
DHA contributes to maintenance of normal brain function.
