Description
Sodium butyrate is supplied in capsule form, with 90 capsules per pack. Each capsule provides 300 mg of sodium butyrate, standardized to contain 240 mg of butyric acid (80%).
The ingredients are sodium butyrate, cellulose as a filler, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose as a thickener, and ethylcellulose as a glazing agent. The capsule shell is made from hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. The label states no gluten and no lactose.
Per 100 g the product provides 507 kcal, 49 g of fat (of which 49 g are saturated fatty acids), 12.2 g of salt, 39 g of fibre and 61.6 g of sodium butyrate, of which 49.3 g is butyric acid (80%).

Mandatory information
Swallow the capsule whole with water, preferably with a meal. Adults: 1 capsule orally twice daily, morning and evening; recommended course at least 3 months. Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule orally once daily, preferably in the evening; recommended course at least 6 weeks. Do not exceed the recommended daily portion. Use under medical supervision.
