Description
Thorne Research Basic Prenatal is a comprehensive prenatal multivitamin and mineral formula designed to support the nutritional needs of women during preconception, pregnancy, and the postnatal period. Each serving of three vegetarian capsules delivers a carefully selected array of 25 nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and essential cofactors in their most bioavailable forms — helping to fill dietary gaps that can be challenging to meet through food alone during this important life stage.
Basic Prenatal uses specific ingredient forms: folate is supplied as L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate, vitamin B12 as Methylcobalamin, and minerals such as iron, zinc, copper, and manganese as Thorne's own TRAACS® amino acid chelates. Riboflavin is provided as Riboflavin 5'-Phosphate Sodium and vitamin B6 as Pyridoxal 5'-Phosphate, both active coenzyme forms. Calcium and magnesium are delivered in dual citrate and malate forms to maximise tolerability.
