Cytoplan Methylfolate delivers 400 µg of folate per capsule in the form of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) calcium — the naturally occurring, metabolically active form of folate that the body can utilise directly. Unlike standard folic acid, which requires enzymatic conversion before use, 5-MTHF is the predominant form of folate found circulating in the bloodstream, making it a highly practical choice for everyday supplementation.
Folate contributes to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. These are authorised health claims recognised under EU regulation.
