Description

Fortify Optima Age 50+ is supplied in capsule form, with 30 capsules per pack. Each capsule provides a Proprietary Probiotic Blend of 550 mg, made up of a Bifidobacteria Blend (57 Billion CFU) and a Lactobacilli/Streptococcus Blend (33 Billion CFU), together with a Proprietary Plant-Based Prebiotic Blend of 75 mg containing chicory root fiber, gum acacia fiber and organic blue agave inulin.

The Bifidobacteria Blend includes Bifidobacterium lactis Bi-07, Bifidobacterium lactis BL-04, HOWARU Bifidobacterium lactis HN019, Bifidobacterium bifidum/lactis Bb-02, Bifidobacterium infantis Bi-26, Bifidobacterium lactis Bb-12, Bifidobacterium bifidum Bb-06 and Bifidobacterium breve Bb-03. The Lactobacilli/Streptococcus Blend includes Lactobacillus acidophilus La-14, Lactobacillus plantarum Lp-115, HOWARU Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001, HOWARU Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM, Lactobacillus paracasei Lpc-37, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and Streptococcus thermophilus St-21.

The capsule is plant-derived, made from hypromellose and gellan gum. Other ingredients are potato maltodextrin, magnesium stearate and silica. The label states this product is free of gluten, soy, dairy, gelatin and artificial colors.
